Hafenbrack fuels organization's efforts to build business
and aid the environment.
JatroDiesel, a Miamisburg, Ohio-based biodiesel producer and equipment manufacturer, had an idea to help area fast food restaurants dispose of their used fry oil and then convert it into much-needed biodiesel fuel. They even had the perfect partnership with the Roto-Rooter Corporation to help them remove the oil. The trouble was, restaurants were hesitant to tout to patrons that their oil was being cleaned out by a company best known for tending clogged toilets. Enter Hafenbrack Marketing & Public Relations, who designed a campaign to educate restaurant owners and customers about the benefits of the oil-recycling program, which they re-named as Serving The Greener Good. Hafenbrack powered the program with a host of marketing tools, targeting both restaurant owners and patrons: identity, brochures, window stickers, table-top and web. In the first quarter after launch, Serving The Greener Good was adopted by more than 150 restaurant locations throughout the Greater Dayton Region and the Tri-State Area.
