Oxiem and Hafenbrack Join Forces As Region’s Most Fully Integrated Agency

DAYTON, Ohio and COLUMBUS, Ohio (February 12, 2014) - Oxiem Brand Interactions announced today the integration of its operations with Hafenbrack Marketing & Public Relations and its healthcare-focused agency Genessa Health Marketing. These comprehensive brand and digital agencies will unite to form the region’s most progressive, integrated agency group—Upward Brand Interactions—with offices in Columbus, Dayton, Springfield and Cleveland, Ohio.

Dave Hafenbrack started in the marketing business 32 years ago when advertising agencies and graphic design studios were mostley seperate entities.

"I started the company myself out of my basement and it was just Hafenbrack Graphic Design," he said. "In the late 1990s, we transitioned to an advertising agency, and we've been a full-service marketing firm for the past few years."

Hafenbrack Receives National Recognition

DAYTON, OH (January 28, 2009) - Hafenbrack Marketing & Public Relations has received recognition for their work in Graphic Design USA. Graphic Design USA is a national publication that delivers news and information monthly to the design community. This community includes graphic design firms, publishing departments, advertising agencies and a variety of other creative organizations.

Hafenbrack Marketing was featured twice within the piece. The publication had to review more than 10,000 entries in order to determine the best and the brightest pieces for their American Graphic Design Awards. The issue was released in December of 2008.

From direct mail and catalog to websites and interactive entries, the winning pieces received recognition as established creative minds and organizations of today. Hafenbrack netted an award for their F&S Harley-Davidson Mailer entitled "I Heart My Hog", along with an award for their "Field of Dreams" piece designed for an event held at their facility.

Hafenbrack Hosts a Snow Filled Event

Hafenbrack Marketing & Public Relations Hosts a Snow Filled Event

Dayton, OH - Hafenbrack Marketing hosted their annual holiday event on Thursday, December 11th at their offices in the historic Kuhn's Building. With a Snow Day theme, Hafenbrack transformed their 4th floor area into a winter wonderland.

Clients, friends and family were able to enjoy food and refreshments while holiday music played in the background and snow fell from the balcony above. The event decor filled the area with trees, snowflakes and much more.

"We strive to make every event special for our guests from the time they walk in to the moment they head home," said Melissa Wyatt, Hafenbrack Marketing's Project Manager and Event Coordinator. "From the invitations and food selection to the decorations and giveaways, we want the entire experience to be a memorable one."

The event was a big success for the region's premier marketing solutions company. With over 150 visitors throughout the evening, Hafenbrack Marketing was a busy downtown space filled with holiday cheer.

Dayton, OH - Hafenbrack Marketing donned the colors of "Old Glory" and got in the spirit of things with a Star-Spangled event the 26th of June for clients, friends, vendors and family. With an Independence Day theme, Hafenbrack Marketing transformed into Independence Hall and everyone who stopped by was treated to hamburgers, hot dogs and the best apple pies ever, from the EI cake company.

"I really wanted a parade with everyone waving flags, a marching band playing 'Stars and Stripes Forever' and of course, a baton twirler! Dave Hafenbrack, Founder of the agency that bears his name, was in his car on the way to look at a new office space when he received a call from a longtime friend and client. The brief conversation on the phone that followed set into motion a chain of events that has revived an historic building, spurred Dayton's creative market and given Hafenbrack's team a chance to create a workspace that is as chic and posh as it is functional.

"It surprised me to hear from Bob Shiffler. He called and said he was reviving a building downtown, heard I was looking for a new space and just wanted me to check out the building before I made a decision," said Hafenbrack.
