DAYTON, Ohio - August 15, 2007 - Hafenbrack Marketing & Public Relations, one of the region's most successful marketing companies, announced today the promotion of Alex Loehrer to vice president of client services. In this newly created position, he will focus on accelerating agency growth by delivering its full set of services.
With the agency since 2004, Loehrer will oversee all key aspects of operations including the sales, account service and creative and financial areas of the business. Most recently, Loehrer served as director for client services for the agency. He joined the Hafenbrack senior management team a little more than a year ago.
Since that time, he has been in charge of the account service functions of the agency and will maintain this role as he transitions into the new position. His primary emphasis has been on sales development and the agency-wide migration of best practices, including project management and client relationship management.
According to Hafenbrack Marketing Founder, Dave Hafenbrack, the decision to create this role and promote Loehrer was natural. "Alex brought a tremendous sales, real-world business and client relations skill set with him," he said.
"As the agency has grown, our client base has changed and broadened leading to the need to create this role. Alex's previous experience and continued growth within the agency combined with an ability to interface well with clients made him the ideal candidate for this role."
Previously, Loehrer worked at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. in its Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America. From 1998 to 2002, he worked for Rittal Corporation of Springfield, Ohio as an international sales and management trainee, then as the assistant to the vice president for sales and market development, and finally as manager of Rittal Corporation's key accounts customer service group.
Just prior to joining Hafenbrack, he served as public relations director for Concordia Language Villages, a world language education program for young people.
